Fire trucks and auto insurance!

There is a fire truck directly outside of my balcony with its ladder up to the roof of a non-smoky building across the street, and they did the exact same thing just a few weeks ago at 3 AM. Either they really have a problem with someone in that building, or they like to do drills there.

On top of that, I've heard and/or seen eight accidents right outside my balcony in the eight months I've lived here. I thought it was cute at first, probably just because of my auto insurance background and my generally evil nature, but not anymore - especially after I was almost hit two or three of the times.

And the car alarms, the car alarms! Anyhow, I'm losing sleep. Oh, good. They've finally left...

Hmm, wonder how much the auto insurance is on a fire truck :)
